Third Nine Weeks Projects 1 and 2:
In this project, I created a movie of the Earth and Moon Colliding using the 3-D element in Photoshop. This was created through the use of two spheres, the Earth, and the Moon, several images of the galaxy, one point light, to simulate the sun, and the timeline mechanic to animate the Moon and move the Camera. First, I created the space background through creating 36 postcards with stars on them. I then arranged the panels into formation with 60 degree tilts and placed them around 0,0,0. After the creation of the background, I add the Earth and Moon, through taking maps from the internet and placing them, as a mesh, on two separate spheres. First I imported the Earth into the document with the space background, placed it at 0,0,0, gave it a radius of 6.7 mega meters and an axial tilt of 23 degrees. Then I placed the Moon at 0,-10,10 and gave it an axial tilt of 135 degrees. This is where the model varies from reality, but by having the Moon at 135 degrees, I could easily manipulate the "pullers" on the sphere when animating the Moon. Finally, I created a point light to simulate the sun and began animating. First, I opened up the timeline, created a keyframe for the Moon, and dragged it into the Earth. I then created a keyframe for the camera position and moved the camera as shown in the video. After it was completed, I rendered and uploaded it to Weebly.

Project 1: Tiny Planets
In the Tiny Planets Project, I took an image of a skyline and turned it upside down. I then used polar coordinates and the smudge tool to create a seamless Tiny Planet. On some of the tiny planets I added a picture of Timurlame with the magic selection wand and deletion option to create Timurlame coming over the Hindu Kush and the elliptical work path to create rings.
Project 2: Roy Lichenstein (Half Tone Pattern)
In the Halftone Pattern Project, I created three pieces that emulated the work of Roy Lichtenstein. In this project, after taking an image of a person off of the internet, I used the pen tool to outline different parts of the clothing and body and to copy them into a different layer to be given one uniform color. After going back and highlighting body parts with a stroke, such as the nose and ears, I continued to the Halftone pattern in which three parts were assigned any number of half tone patters (Dot, Line, Circle, and Color Halftone) from the filter gallery and pixelate sections of the filter menu.
Project 3: Shepard Fairey
In this project, we used the posterization tool to break up the image into five basic colors, the color range tool, to select and color in those different layers, and thematic inspiration from Shepherd Fairy's art style to create three different images in the style of Shepherd Fairy.
